“Open with a casualty: As the two teams lined up for their second match of the tourney, the wood elves had an eye on evening out the series record. However, the fans did not. As the elves kicked the ball, and all eyes were front preparing for whatever the skaven offensive line could throw at them...a diminutive figure in the stands was preparing to throw something else at the unsuspecting elves. A hunched furry creature in a dark cloak produced a small rock - a flattened, sharpened shard of flint - and hurled it at the nearest elf, the lineman Tharanth. The pointed edge caught him in the left temple, and he fell to the pitch. The team's apothecary rushed onto the field, but upon examining the body declared there was nothing he could do, the elf was already dead.

Disheartened by this early loss, they nevertheless made an incredbile dodgeing TD soon after to equalize - dodging three times through tackle zones and following with a sprint to the end zone. After this, the lineman Saranth tried to make up another TD by Blitzing to catch the ball on the skaven's next reception - but tripped up at the end of his sprint to get under the ball, snapping his ankle in two.

Not much a team can do when both the fans and the pitch itself seems to have it in for them, and in the end the skaven numbers held the day - although they also managed to fail a GFI of their own...as a gutter runner tried to shorten a turn 16 pass for a 4th TD...resulting in a Badly Hurt for the prospective thrower, and ending the game.
