“Awful game.
Under all aspects you might consider it.
It was bad for me, cause in my first four turns I had one of the worst dice rolls streaks of all my Fumbbl career. Double skulls, double ones, failed blocks, failed pickups, everything important failed miserably. All kind of things you are going to pay dearly vs a TR 200 well coached skaven team. By turn 4 angelface was leading 2-0, and at the end of the first half he led 3-0. No hope of recovering such a match.
I must admit I didn't pay too much attention in the second half... nor did I get deeply involved in such a game. I was just trying to capitalize where I could, getting a couple casualties to skill the Ogre and to get a +1 for the FF roll (which didn't help much, more's the pity). Angelface didn't want to over-kill me, and the game proceeded quietly to a 4-1 loss.
But this was a bad game for angelface too.He didn't gain FF, and 3 out of 4 casualties he suffered were RIPs, which killed his best storm vermin (twice) and a lino.
Post-game sequence was a little better for me. Ogre got Block at 6 spps, and my superblitzer passed without aging the milestone of 126 spps, rolling a double for Stand Firm.
Looking forward to a (less bloody but more enjoyable, I hope) rematch, angelface.
