“This game was excellent, good, wholesome fun! =)

The first turn, I was kicking and got a blitz. Managed to snatch up the ball, but when trying to GFI I slipped and dropped.

After that, the Alligators slowly pounded their way down to our EZ.

We managed to get the ball halfway to their EZ in our following drive, but the ball was lost from us and the Alligators were well on their way to scoring another TD when the ball carrier slipped when doing a GFI. We managed to get the ball, and make a long pass down to a receiving catcher who could even out the score.

The Alligators countered with a tactic which borders on cheating. Well, what to expect of those dirty green skins? One of their little fellas got the ball, and the team's ogre flung him down the pitch. I managed to box him up pretty good, but due to his stunty nature he scored a touchdown in the Alligators final turn of the first half.

This made our fans furious, and the game was held up at half time for four turns!

In the final half, the Alligators began kicking and we did a pretty basic three turn touchdown with some lucky rolls.

The alligators then had two turns to take the lead and score their third touch down, but due to a fumbling ogre the opportunity never really arose.

The end of the game was quite the anti climax compared to the earlier parts, but both teams were obviously exhausted. A little pushing and shoving, but not much happened.

Props to grimfang for being a great sport, this was a very enjoyable game!

The aftermath carried two retirements, Knurra the (not so) Violent and Valhändtur Fnularson were taken off the roster but joined up the coaching staff. Both had realized their love of the game was greater than their capabilities and due to injuries they decided to aid the team from the sidelines instead!
