“This match could have been more brutal, but the dwarves kept their heads and tried to play sensibly... well actually they were hungover from too much ale the night before, but they weren't going to tell the coach that!

Cyric watched his side fail far too many gfi's, and he would be working on that in training before the next tournament!

Despite a blitz in the first half by the skaven on the slow moving dwarves, and obtaining the ball, the dwarves fought back and secured a TD in turn 8, leaving the skaven a turn to score... which they nearly did, with the aid of a quick snap.... but again, the gutter runner failed a gfi!

The second half saw the Plagues score early, leaving the dwarves time to march back up the field and score in turn 8 again. Slow, patient, but it worked... it was good to see the Rat Ogre safely in the BH box... and cyric was nervous after having seen his apoth used early to save one rat from death... fortunately for him, the dwarves took pity and failed to seriously injure any more of their furry opposition.

A good game - Cyric kept on trying, never giving up taking on more -2 dice rolls than he would have liked!”
