“Indeed I did play it very safe with these fledgling Vamps... not really used to their japery to be honest and not sure how they should be played. I hates Wood Elves too... too tricksey for me.

They did however do a decent job of beating up on the thralls, 3 good clean bites!
I just didn't have the numbers needed for this game, to be honest, I was fairly lucky to even get the one touchdown. Twahn played it nice & safe, scoring in the seventh turn of the first half, then i nice big cage protecting the carrier in the second half.
I really should've taken note of who it was, but one of my elves managed to dodge into the cage, and pull of a double pow on a 2 dice against block on the ball carrier! (I might have to check the replay). Not that it helped of course, as there was nowhere to go from the middle of the cage - he managed to collect the ball, and make it most of the way out, but after 4-5 dodges through tackle zones, it got a bit to much for him.
All in all, it was a pretty decent game, and it left the team with 11 players for their next match -- which will be the first time in 6 games.”
