“Two Rookie coaches gathered at a dusty stadium on the outskirts of Nuln to pit their novice teams against one another. Rumour had it that Manningtree's Witch Elf captain, Angelina Mortis, had been sleeping with the halfling referee the night before the game!

The Elvish team got off to a blistering start, sprinting past a confused Orc defence for an early touchdown by Spyteful Slycer. Mushroom Bob's bamboozled Boyz had wrongly assumed that the opposition would line themselves up at the Scrimmage for a fair fight! The half ended with an attritional offensive play for the Greenskins, however, resulting in an equalizing TD and two Manningtree players mauled by the Black Orc scrimmage line. Mushroom Bob was sent off for fouling the Ref's bit of crumpet [Angelina Mortis] once two often once she was down!

In a bruising, blizzard-bound second half encounter, the Morodhel snatched turnover ball from the Orcish upfield grind, and sprinted for a touchdown! Badly depleted through injury, they could not hold on for the final three turns, however, and succumbed to a desperate late passing move through the snow and ice as Rintie Spin moved the rock to Swerve Marvin in the endzone. 2-2 it finished.
