“Giving up 10 points in TR I was a bit nervous going into this match, especially about the 4 Guard Blitzers my opponent had. And indeed it seemed like most of my team started each turn on the floor. However, in the first half I couldn't fail with the dice and I was able to knock the ball loose on around turn 4 after a huge scrum on one side of the pitch. I recovered and ran it to the opposite side but my opponent caught up with my 2 man breakaway squad. I was able to make the 1D block to clear a path for the TD.
There simply isn't much you can do when your opponent is rolling dice like that, and wrag did well to limit me to 1 TD in the first half. In the second half my luck was only slightly less godly.
I made a clean break down the flank but exposed the ball carrier (ST 4 blitzer) and my opponent recovered the ball. I was able to hit right back with a 2D block, pickup and dodge and 2 GFI for the TD on turn 4. As I said, the dice were with me. Then I simply had to hold out for the clean sheet.
The only thing I didn't roll well for was KO recovery, where I failed I think 5 of 7. Still an interesting match and I would play wrag again any day, very sporting. ”
