“Pouring rain slowed the game down, and some poor ball handling led to an early defensive touchdown at the second half as Blacula's Revenge escaped this one with a 1-0 victory over the Rotting Knights.

The Knights played outstanding first half defense. Slowing down the high octane offense of Blacula's Revenge. The revenge tried to score a TD on the last play of the 1st half , but Mamuwalde simply could not hang onto the ball that William Marshall threw right at his chest.

The second half started out roughly for the Knights as they failed to make a couple of blocks leaving a defensive lane wide open for the Revenge. After pressuring the ball, the Revenge Thrall Swenson managed to get the ball in hand and scamper into the endzone for a 1-0 lead.

The rest of the game was largely uneventful as neither team could accomplish that which they set out to do. ”
