“Our third match in the purebowl league ended in a hardfought and lucky win over the pure chaos boyz. Key play was early in the first half when our Ghoul "I hate God" started his experiment with guerilla tactics. He intentionally tripped on a simple dodge and pretended to be stunned in hopes of the chaos players forgetting him, which they did. Second part of the plan was for the ball to go out bounds due to very bad luck for the chaos, which they had. Waiting in the crowd was the resurrected corpse of Dark Elf legend Alexander Lurkman, who threw a perfect spiral pass to the waiting Ghoul. Two turns later he scored the TD! Che Guevarra eat your heart out:P

In general it has to be said that the choas players dominated the pitch, but lacked that little bit of luck needed for a victory.

Lessons to be learned:

Pikachu needs to go dodging academy. You would think that the recent addition to our ranks of a former dark elf would have raised the level of dodging skills through his tutoring in practice. Alas, he failed a dodge and showed afterwards that he also had not yet grasped the concept of regeneration very well, resulting in a niggle. (@$^@#*&)

The whole team needs to make more sacrifices to Nuffle. In addition to the self inflicted niggle for Pikachu, "I hate God" failed the ageing roll for his 1st skill (@$^@#*&).

Our positionals are now in great trouble. 1 Ghoul dead, 1 Ghoul niggled, 1 Wight niggled. If this carries on we'll soon have to rely purely on our zombies to play ball(shudder). Let's hope we earn enough dedication points to allow their retirement soon.”
