“UMT3 playoff game:

All players healthy!

Injury time as premonition of things to come delays the game before the kickoff.

The Eagles puts up a valiant defense having a two die blitz on the ball carrier, that failed to knock the hobgoblin down. The defense also forced several RRs and dodges. But in the end the chaos dwarf team scored with little time left before halftime.

Unfortunately thrower Randall Cunningham was badly hurt, as was one of the chaos dwarves.

Second half starts with Sponsors up 1 – 0 and kicking off…

And then it started to pour for the second half…

And thrower Jim McMahon had trouble picking up the ball and then it went downhill.

Ogre Buddy Ryan got confused and then a moment later blew a tackle falling on his face. Jim McMahon got sidelined and the ball was recovered by a Hobgoblin that apparently likes slippery balls in the rain…

The sponsors then successfully stalled for the rest of the game, as on the last ticks of the clock blitzer Heath Sherman tried to get to the ball carrier, tripped and DIED!!! The Hobgoblin went on to score an extra TD just as the clock expired.

This ends the playoffs hopes for the Eagles and ends there undefeated streak at 5 games.
