“And it is another quite easy win for the Dreamers, yet for once the opposition managed to score at least once, and what a touchdown it was. Congratulations to Knightmare and his Eagles for that play.
Everyone wondered at the beginning of the game where the gods were hiding. While the Eagles, their elven blood was certainly boiling in their veins, were hitting the ground each time they were trying to escape a tackle zone, 3 of the Dreamers blitzers took nearly half of the first half to take one wardancer down, the sole remaining Eagle player in scoring position at that time, as a turn earlier the other wardancer placed himself in the touchdown zone, yet a fumbled pass from the ball carrier gave a dream-like opportunity to the Dreamers to get rid of him. The crowd did a great job in breaking him enough for him not to return before the next game.
The first half finally ended 1-0 for the Dreamers, on a defensife half.
The second half started with the Dreamers still full on the pitch while the Eagles were already down to 6 remaining players, all the others Ko or badly hurt, and more specifically with both wardancers sleeping tight. The Dreamers easily scored a 2-0 on their attack in nearly no time, then the awesome play from the Eagles that gave them the opportunity to score.
The Dreamers had manage to knock prone all the players in scoring position and to cage in all the remaining players at the line of scrimage, even sending 2 players downfield to put pressure on the thrower. Although, against all odds, one of the prone Eagle got up and managed to dodge out of many tackle zones and sprinted his way to the touchdown zone. In the meanwhile, the thrower sprinted down to a lineman still standing at the line of scrimage, handoff'ed him the ball in a tackle zone, this new ball carrier, improvised thrower for the turn dodged out and through the whole cage and managed to make a long pass down to the guy waiting there, taking the score 2-1.
The last TD was just an easy walk down with 11 players against 6 the Dreamers scored in fast, hoping to put a 4th TD in, yet they failed nearly everything on that 4th try, the game ending 3-1.
What to remind: That TD from the Eagles; a spectacular Interception from The Beaver which led to the 2nd touchdown; and when the crowd held its breath all at the same time when, near the end of the game, Eagle-Sight, the team captain, wanting to equalize Elven-Blood in completions, sprinted to the ball and tripped, killing himself over his shoe-laces. Fortunately the Aphotecary was there and managed to save him.”
