“Was to be an epic matchup. Agile elves vs bashy orcs. The Stags were unstoppable pulling offensive plays at will. Defense was even pretty good for em. That was until trying to send the orc thrower crowd surfing and rolling double skulls that is. First half ends 2-1.
During halftime however the elves decide to leave what passes as protection in the locker-room. By turn 2 of second half its one tree vs 4 orcs. Amazingly the tree finally breaks armor and gets a couple ko’s. Unfortunately this does little to slow the green tide. The Stags get the ball back and <surprise> all the pansy elves fail their KO rolls. Once again it’s the lone tree vs 4 orcs. Tree surprises everyone by playing damn well. Unfortunately the orcs have little problem outrunning the sap. Cowardly orcs stall rather than give the elves a fighting chance at equalizing the score.
Elves wonder what all this nonsense is about Klingons and honor. “Honor. Nothing over honor. The Klingon Nation is based on that sole thought.” Except when the match is on the line apparently. A good tactical move to be sure but not the fun play typical of a 4-ball game.
Congrats to Mithrilpoint on a fine win and good luck with the rest of the tourney. ”
“What do Elves know of Honor? It would have been honorless to not win this game with the score tied 2 turns before cosing time as they had only a Tree left and the rest of them slumbering in the KO box. The Elves twice pulled off TD´s at will and the easiest way to stop that is to not let them have the ball.
You might be right that my style is not "typical of a 4-ball game" but I´ll play my way and you´ll play your way. And I do not call your style "lame".
The game was good but confirmed my belief that 4ball has little or nothing to do with Bloodbowl.
Thanks for the game GameAvatar
