An early BH and a death (apothed) made life a bit easier because of outnumbering the rats the most of the time, something very handy considering the awesome speed and agility of these damn gutters.
A 1-0 lead was soon doubled after a botched attempt to hand-off the ball to the furry thrower whom was cleaning his whiskers. A pick-up in tz later and an agile dodge plus a quick-pass to my catcher. (yeah; these lasses were on fire!) made it all happen.
This even got to a 3-0 lead when I could blitz a hole in his cage and once more pulled of a nifty feat, undoubtedly distracting the rats by flashing their upper bodies to the confused Skaven.
But then the tide turned. A gutter showed what they are made for; dodging 4 times on 3+ and twice gfi'-ing with the ball in hand.
With a secure 3-1 lead i decided to be greedy; wanted to pass with a 5 spp blitzer and later hand-off to my 3 spp catcher.
Alas he could dodge away in his turn and 1d-block my ball-carrier; a clean pow made an end to my illusions.
Even so in my last turn a line-woman picked the ball up and after some judging of the distance she decided to gfi once increasing her odds of making the pass. (to 4+ with RR in hand)
1 RR 1
sigh.
The gutter twitched his tail and scurried once more over to the ball and did not care about futile things like gfi's... Built for speed I suppose.
My only regrets are the stupid blitzer ageing on first skill. (frigging stinks) and the poor cash made while the ff stayed the same.”
