“Well it was always going to be a bruiser and it played out just as Coach Vampy had expected. Tight through the middle of the park with little opportunity for TD's. Coach Diggie had some fairly decent opportunity in the first half to take the lead but a fumbbl here and a block there meant his luck was never going to be in for a good day. Just when he thought he was going to get a TD he sprinted! And tripped on a blade of grass dropping the ball. The Dwarves rounded as fast as they could (say 40 turns later then) and covered the ball and Speedybeard picked it up and made a dash up the field. Wanted to show off and sprinted and also tripped on the gras. The ball was back in play and Coach Diggie could smell a possible TD. It could have been too if not for a failed short pass. So teh Dwarves quickly covered every tackle area possible. With the first half ending in a stale mate and the Dwarves kicking the Beast on the floor to get him off the field, things were set up for a drawn out affair or a tight 1 -0 to either side.

The seond half looked like it was going in Coach Vampy's favour from early on and then he broke free with his runner. He could see the Touchline! NEY! He could taste and smell it! But unmarked and all alone he suddenly got nailed successfully by a rampaging beastman and sent straight to the KO box (KO a dwarf I ask ya pfft). With that incensing the Dwarves they quickly rounded on the Beastman and his compatriots to knock a few of them down. And then Longbeard the Longbeard stepped up and amazingly picked the ball up and even more amazingly dodged from a tackle zone. With support from fellow player's he made a break for it and scored his debut TD!

The Dwarves were ecstatic and rallied to try and see out the remainder of the game. With an amazing kick which landed in the very corner of the TD zone, the Beastmen hung their heads at what now seemed an unlikely chance at drawing. The game played out and teh Dwarves took the prize. ”
