“The Friendly Fellows began their Blood Bowl career by sprinkling the Finlandian pitch with rose petals and candy canes - all the Fellows wanted was to make some little dwarfy friends. Sadly, as the Cas figures show, this was not to be the case.

Stupidity, it turns out, is contagious. If one bonehead roll failes, they all fail. This, coupled with Arzka's penchant for outlandish dodging, kept the luck % under 40 for the first half.

Although they made a nice pass n catch from the kick-off, some Ogre blocks and a frantically bouncing ball cost the Dwraves possession in turn two. Arnold Skullcrusher leapt at Lionel Elfkisser, determined to win it back, but an unfortunate tangle of arms saw him limping to the injury box, much to the Elfkisser's horror.

Without rerolls, the Dwarves could not stop Spanky's sprinting touchdown drive, and the Ogre's took a fifth turn lead.

The Dwarves countered, making a determined attempt at the two-turn TD. Only some desperate crowdpushing prevented it. The Ogre followers, desperate to greet Thorek Tharnisson, tragically crushed him in the stampede, ending his participation in the game.

Dwarvern tackling prevented the Ogre's adding to their lead, and the first hald ended 1-0.

The second half featured some over-enthusiastic petting from Lenny (another BH) and Golag Rabbittickler, overcome with love and joy, accidentally hugging Dorek to death.

From the kick-off, the Ogres cleared the middle of the pitch, and the goblins scampered through, dropped a pass, but still had the agility to score before the Dwarves could recover.

A frustrated foul from the Dwarves - no doubt mistaking a skill-inducing pass for stalling - did some serious damage. Although the boot utterly failed to hurt Bobby Happytoes, Grag Swifshoes was sent off, and Arzka ejected from the stadium. More importantly, Lionel Elfkisser was reduced to tears, and so saddened by the cruelty of the Dwarves, spent the rest of the match unable to make his Bonehead rolls.

The match ended in a hail of skull blocks and dropped pick-ups, 2-0 to the Fellows.

Two skills for the Ogre team, and 80k in prize money, but sadly, despite the +3, they could not increase their FF - perhaps a symbol of their fans displeasure at this overly violent start to the Friendly Fellowes Blood Bowl career.”
