The Vampires sliced through the Khornium like knives through butter. Except for Kostas Papadakis, he just bit thralls and fell over.

The handicap was I am The Greatest. This would have been more useful it it had affected 2 vamps, instead of the uber-vamp and a block/tackle thrall. Still, for the first few turns, when their luck was 100%, the Pow-happy Khornium were doing okay. Then it dropped to only 71%, and things started to go wrong.

After going 1-0 down, an out-blocked and dwindling team (Av 8 being more fragile than Av 7 - stupid KO-loving beastmen) pushed for the equaliser. Unfortunately, poor positioning gave the Bunker guys an easy 2dice blitz on the ball carrier, and the bounce gave the ball straight to the vamps. A series of desperate one dice blocks from the Chaos only succeeded in knocking the ball into the hands of other vamps, and Kakiz was able to leg it to the other side of the pitch.

The multiple GFI's (on an icy pitch) proved too much to overcome, and the Bunker Guys were able to walk in a second score.

The chance to pull one back went as the Chaos luck collapsed. Suffering turnovers on the first rolls of the final two turns (the Khornium fans cursed both the absence of block and their coach's obsessive love of ones), the Khornium players were left stranded, and the Vampires made the easy pick-up and trundled over the line.

3-0 to the Vampires. I just can't play Vampires.

EDIT: Indeed yes, I enjoyed the game very much. Kakiz is a cool and friendly coach. Plus after my usual not-watching-the-turn-counter left me 1sq short of a td, I ALMOST pulled off a very impressive massed 9 man pushback. But I could only get 8 men in position. This still made me feel good. Then I let Kakiz 2 dice blitz my unprotected ball carrier in the very next drive. Then I felt sad.
