“Game started with my fans throwing a longbeard to SI(mng). I received but after a bit silly move from my opponent managed to get 2d block on his ball carrier. My luck didn't last tho since my first dodge of the game failed and apo had to run in to field and fix a niggling injury. I did manage to grab the ball before that and after bit of a ruckus the ball I was at his TD zone all alone. Not tempting my opponents steel caps I decided to score on turn 4. Rest of the half was bashing on which I got bh and SI(mng) and myself managing to RIP a longbeard. Last action of the half I managed to bh my blitzer when trying to run for throw to almost free lino at TD zone. I felt peculiar Deja Vu feeling.
2nd half I started with 7 elves and my opponent with 9 dwarfs. I was attacking but my opponent played well keeping my elves on tz's and blocking them down constantly and I managed to throw some ones and even with reroll from kick off result didn' t manage to get a clear throw line to my waiting lino. My 4+ throw succeeded but so did Troll Slayers 6+ int. Cest la vie and stuff. He failed a hand off next turn and I had a shot at the ball again but once again first dodge failed ( I know I should have taken that rr at the beginning..). He then did manage to score (not stalling either when he had a relatively good chance at it). Now I had 2 turns time to score. Things looked bad. And not suprisingly I didn't manage to score.
Even if I failed on offence I'm grateful that my rerolless and skilless elves did that well and actually not even one wen't to KO or Injury box during 2nd half eventho I must have received about 20 blocks. I actually managed to BH a dwarf blitzer just before the game ended securing me +FF.
Conclusion: Opponent played a bit bad at the start and I managed to exploit his mistakes. He did learn from his mistakes and played well 2nd half. Luck was quite equal with me having a bit more luck on first half and him dominating 2nd half. I had a bit less than average dodging and ball handling. While he had bad luck at injuries (for and against). Nice tight game and I'm happy with draw.”
