“The fans enjoyed this draw far more than the previous three Ogre victories. Go figure.
The absence of Bonehead failures was matched only by Night and Day's love of One Dice Block POWs - seriously, I failed about 3 and he rolled no single skulls (doubleskulls, however, was a different thing).
As ever, my goblins proved tough and durable - although they did start to get KO'd towards the end. Sadly, the Ogres were more fragile, Lionel Elfkisser SI'd himself on a simple GFI, and Bobby Happytoes was Knocked-out never to return.
A GFI'd, 3 turn pitch length sprint from Jimbo saw the Fellows score a turn 8 first-half touchdown against the run of play. The second half saw the 3 Ogres lead a cage across the field, although this collapsed in turn 4 after some failed goblin dodging and the ball bounced into the grasping hands of the Beastmen.
The Fellows scrabbled to get the ball back and they made a last ditch -2dblock that took the ball carrier down. Sadly for them the ball dropped kindly for the Chaos and Wood Cutter made the 3+ pick-up needed to get the equaliser.
A fair result in a very lucky game.”
