“It may sound weird to all the cherry pickers out there but Candlejack asked me for a game with his amazons. Sure he'd get a whopping 4 handicaps and sure I had only 3 tacklers of which 2 were on lowly (and more important slowly!) zombies but still...

He had the balls (can I say that on fumbbl?) to challenge UP this much with no reserves. I can only hope it also helped that he knows that I never aim to destroy teams and that my cas-rate (obviously) is rather low.

He got virus (taking out only 1 zombie), the greatest meaning that either my ST4/guard ghoul or my best mummy would have to be left on the bench (ouch!), doom 'n gloom. (bad again even if only for one half) and one more I forgot. (nothing important then I reckon)

I had the first drive and opted for mobility and medium ST over punch. Mummy on the bench. A perfect defense made my un-life miserable and the sad ineptitude of my players to knock over some women did not help either. When these lasses KO'd a zombie in their first turn and another a few turns later I was in trouble. Only the fact that I had the ball on that elusive ST4 blodger helped a lot but even so in the end he knocked over the ball-carrier and a short scrap later the ball scattered to a square next to the side-line. His turn 7 that was.

No RR left; wasted on a double-skull RR double-skull (bah) but only 1 turn to go I opted for the one and only shot I had. First a block and a blitz pushing aside some girls. Then my new Wight, undoubtedly knowing how important it all was dodged away and reached the endzone. The other wight dodged away and rushed to the ball. Picked it up. 2 go-for-it's later he stood there, panting in an unconscious reflex of his former life aiming the ball.

Failed the short pass.

Second half;
I had a lot of pressure on the girls mostly due to my team outnumbering them a bit (10-11) but in the end those slippery dodgy lasses got away and scored 1-1 halfway the second half.

My drive once more was a fairly standard push to one side, abusing the relative slowness of the amazons and in the end they missed my Wight scoring again. Even if my not-beating heart almost started beating again when my mummy double-skulled again leaving an unlikely gap to the ball-carrier. Good for me that he failed the 4+ dodge (with RR!)

I took no chances the turn after. 2-1.
