The elves sure pummeled each other quite badly. Almost all my blocks were armour piercing. For a moment my many block-skilled players seemed to be game winning.
My AG5 lineman Shotgun Ice got the chance to score a TD in the third turn first half by picking up the ball at the edge of the field right in front of the opposition. He dodged away successfully, but failed the very last 2+ dodge that would have taken him into the end zone.
In the late second half the crowd threw the ball into no mans land deep in my half. Basically all players on the field ran for it, with the Drakemasters having the strength of numbers. Although Triads were a step ahead and Speed burner threw a successful clearing long bomb far up the field. No surprise he was declared man of the match!
The Drakemasters got a final chance in the very last turn to score the winning TD, but the blitzing dragon warrior picked up the bouncing ball and negated the pass.
Thanks again for a very tence and entertaining game!”
“This game swept back and forth so many times it is hard to recollect what really happened...
In the first half, I thought I was playing Flings, since my team was very easy to knock out and Ivalon even died for a short moment. luckily my Apo saved that, and in doing so made sure he wasn't there to save Veschelstroem.
My team really had to run all over the field chasing the ball, cause the Triads didn't miss one single pass, no matter how long it was...
Had the chance to score in the 6 th turn, but failed one very short pass. Had I chosen to cage the ballcarrier and TD in the next turn I'd been a lot safer. Lesson learned: Never rush to the TD-zone.
Thanks for the game! Will be fun with the rematch....”
