“Another very enjoyable game vs Kenty's Patriots. Unfortunately for me, none of my teams have the longevity to hang with and play him multiple times; however, I haev used 4 or 5 different teams vs this one Patriots squad, and each time I get to see him with new players. Keeps the games fresh and new.

Anyway, this is the first time I'll admit I really should not have won this game. In fact, just a smidgeon more luck, and it would have been a true blowout of epic proportions in the wrong direction. Game opens, and by turn 5 of the first half he's slowly and methodically marched downfield, reducing my 11 rats to 3. (Fortunately, all but one are merely ko, and smelling salts do wonders for that little condition...) Time for desperation plan B: Bonzai! Blitz with agi 3 through multiple tz's to lay a POW on the ballboy; dodge a gutter through same tz's, pickup ball in tz, then advance to handoff to mv 8 thrower; sprint thrower away as fast as ratly possible! Didn't need a single rr during this whole sequence of events, Nuffle was that pleased with the sheer lunacy of our plan. Pity he decided enough was enough, and double-1'd my gfi's to freedom, allowing the humans to finally score.

Then we have a shot at a OTS to end the half, but fail the crucial gfi, half over.

Second half, we take the ball and score, easy as pie. He then gets the ball, but concentrates too much on my linerats/RO, leaving my gutters to blitz in with horns to sack the quarterback. After much scuffling for the ball, big Sumo comes blitzing in to seal the deal, jarring the ball loose enough for the rats to take a 2-1 lead.

Next drive, the humans are being very tentative in advancing, considering they only had 3 turns to score the tying touchdown. I have all my rats back once more and am able to contain him, forcing him to make several ill advised blitzes, which Nuffle saw fit to convert into a plethora of skulls at the end. With no more rr's, the Patriots were left staring at the gameclock count down to zero, scratching their heads and wondering what happened.

Always a pleasure, Kenty, and a rematch at your leisure. I really like how my team is developing. Adequate linerat corps; a RO who actually is useful (from time to time); specialized gutters--the OTS, the dt/ss anti-catcher, the dauntless/horns blitzer, and soon to be the passblocking fool (position of the fool was filled very nicely by an agi 5 gutter, til he aged a niggle at 31 spp). Yes, it's all coming together...”
