“Hello sports fans and welcome to another Town report and we start with the main news for today that Longbranch and Firmroots have made up their differences and both these mighty players will be taking the field today also in player news we hear that Nobbla Blackwart will be taking the field today for the Gobbo's
So here we are with perfect weather and a crowd of 40000
And it's Town to kick off
On the line of scrimage Longbranch throws a block on one of the Trolls and knocks him out so we have a short delay as the Gobbo medical try to drag the Troll from the pitch
And here comes Chaproniere he has his sights firmly set on the Gobbo with the ball and he hits him hard and they both go down but it's the Gobbos who are first to the ball and they move it down field and score
The Gobbos restart and it's Chaproniere who picks up the ball and he moves into centre field but the clock runs down before the Town can make any use of the ball
And so the Gobbo's kick off to start the second half but the kick is too long and it's a touchback to the Town
The Halfling with no name claims the ball for the restart but whats this Longbranch lines up to block a lone Gobbo on the scrimage line gut oh no it's all gone horribly wrong and Longbranch is on the ground
Now the Halfling with no name is moving down field but he is tackled by a Gobbo and looses the ball
And thinga are going from bad to worse on the scrimage line as the Troll has got hold of Arrow and oh my God's he has eaten him ...yes folks Arrow has just been eaten on the field of play
Over on the Town left wing Chaproniere has been blocked and he has gone down and he looks in a bad way yes here comes the Town medical staff to remove the badly hurt Chaproniere from the field
And now it's Kay bearing down on the Gobbo ball carrier and he hits him hard and the ball has come free and George is the first to it and claims it
Meanwhile the Gobbo's have ganged up on Lee and ohhh thats a big hit and Lee is down and so on comes the Town medical team again to remove Lee to the dugout
This time the Gobbo's are first to the loose ball and pick it up and move down field to score
So the Gobbo's restart and George claim's the ball and moves forward then hands it off to Keating and it looks like Firmroots is picking Keating up yes...yes he is Firmroots is throwing Keating down field and Keating lands it perfectly and scampers over the line to score
And so the Town restarts and with only seconds on the clock Firmroots throws a block at a Gobbo and he's not going to get up from that and so with the Gobbo medical crew dragging the badly hurt body from the pitch the final whistle goes
