i wanted to give him a recovery game, cause he had 3 missing players and asked me if i wanted to play.

but it turned ugly. first this dice god, who failed 1(!) roll each half tells me it´s all about odds. well, what are the odds of breaking armor ONCE during a whole game?

to add injury to insult, he then proceeded to kill a lineelf (with a needless block out of bounds) and seriously injured a blitzer with his dirty player (apoth failed, he´s 0 out of 2 now), which he used freely, while i didn´t foul at all. a recovery game, remember? i really wonder where i got that reputation for being a heavy fouler. :)

anyway, he made a few mistakes, but i tried too many risky bits and failed them all.

but with th second half nearing it´s end he made a big mistake and pushed my side-stepper witch elf next to his rookie thrower with the ball. 1 block later the ball was bouncing around like mad and i got my hands on it. 1 paslater i am in scoring position and he declines to pursue me. dodging through a tackle zone must have frightened him.

i win.
