#9 Frans Peacock – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
Some swift play and a few Rat miscues, and the outnumbered, out skilled game birds found themselves up 2-1 at the end of the first half. This result was a huge confidence booster to the team since the tree was missing for the first half. In the second half, an errant kick led to a touchback. Severely outnumberd, the Game Birds tucked the ball into a crook of the trees branches. It became evident that the tree was not going to be able to score without risk, and that the ball was unlikely to be dislodged. The game then fell into a fouling match until time expired. An excellent upset victory for the rookie Game Birds.
