“Definately a game of two halves. I got good pressure on the darkies in the 1st half - forcing the pass over Blitzwing who dully intercepted. Then the quick dash upfield was accompanied by lots of elf KOs and Al ran in the 1st.
A lot of luck gave me another catch - this time from a failed pickup - and blitzing took the TD himself. A slick pass/hand off move at the beginning of the 2nd gave Marcus his second in 2 turns and yet another turnover gave Al his 2nd of the game.
Then it all went the other way round. A couple of cas & KOs and all the elves were back. I had an outside chance of a 5th (I pushed the ball carrier) and the elves got a consolation. ”

The humans defended well on my first drive, forcing me to risk a pass across field, which was duly intercepted and eventually run in for the TD.
Unfortunately, my guys were already dropping like flies by this point, and I couldn't pull back the numbers advantage quickly enough.
Man of the Match goes to blitzer Katar Vaille, who scored both my cas and thus 2 of the 3 points Blackwreath earned this match.
I reckon I would have been outplayed even without a full KO box (really need to work on my game against humans, it seems), but it didn't exactly help. By the time my guys finally got something right the game was almost over. Still, every TD counts and this one got me a skill, so I'm happy.
