“Punching, or biting, somewhat below their weight as Vamps do, U Bleed once more got taught a tough lesson.

It started off okay for the Vamps with a break down the bottom. But the perfect throw to George standing in the TZ was fumbled ineptly into the crowd.
However from the ensuing brawl in the 6th turn Eric Uberwald manages to pick up the ball and run it home for a TD!
And that was it, no more to see here. Move along please...
Ok then, the rest of the match went terribly wrong for U Bleed.
The Skateboarders steamed through the ranks, seriously injuring thralls as they went. The pass was well thrown and well caught by Rodney Mullen in the TZ. The scores are tied 1-1.

After the kick off, Eric Uberwald couldn't resist the pull of the blood and missed his last turn pass as he ran fangs bared to the dugout for a tasty snack. Well, he figured he was coming off soon anyway, so no one would mind...
Scores tied into the second half.

Pay back time! And Tom put his fist into Kevin "Spanky" Long's face. Lovely.
But the break from the Skateboarders is on and Donny Barley rushes through a depleted centre , sprinting for all his worth to the TZ, only to fall over at the line and the ball is left in the TZ! Thralls zero in on the ball, but picking it up is too hard for them, the fools! The ball is spilled into the crowd who throw it out again.
Rodney Mullen sees the open ball, dashes over, picks it up, runs for a TD, and..again they fall over at the line! The line is a tripwire, it must be.
After one more casualty and a failed ofab by Kaspar Lieblitz, Donny Barley has another go at this scoring lark. Sucess and its now 2-1 to Skateboarders.
U Bleed is down to 8 players and has only 2 Vampires. What can they do??
Well Ming the Merciless shows his supernatural strength and runs into the centre with the ball. The High Elves throw themselves at him, but he shrugs them off and quite violently too. It gets bloodier, and the apothecary has too few bandaids to save George, having used them up before to save another Thralls life.
At the end, U Bleed were playing with 5 men, and ended the game with Bert KOing himself against a mighty High Elf lineman. Doh!
It was a good game, well played iena, a deserved victory against the poorest team on the day.
