“Great fun as usual against BMM. We are fairly evenly matched so luck sometimes luck creeps into our games as he stated one of us is hot or cold. I was not TOO cold tonight, except for failing a 3+ dodge with a reroll early in the game that most likely would have resulted in a tie at the end. You can't afford mistakes like that against a good coach.
As far as my first experience with Woodies (the BLoodbowl team, not anything related to puberty), I have found them to be really fun. However, in my first three games, I have not had a luck rating over 49% (although I won the other too in which the luck differential was larger) and my wardancer has FAILED 7/8 GFIs, seriously, wtf? On the sixth failure, all in the first game of his career, he badly hurt himself....I am wondering why I gave him Strip Ball instead of Sure Feet.
Anywho, great fun with a great crowd in the Monday Night Champions League. ”

I think part of it is the ballsy way that celas plays. Very fun to play against. Very risky, but with fantastic rewards. I was surprised to hear that this is celas's first WE team... I think that once his luck turns around a bit, he'll be a nightmare. Smart, aggressive play with a WE team is tough to beat.
