“Barely Legal...and I'm not talking about the skin mags.
With a strength difference of 38 points, I went into this game fully expecting to get smacked around. I was right...but only as far as the cas are concerned. My strategy of using the apo on the first injury of a valuable player backfired after I used him to heal a BH on my +ST thrower. My opponent went on to niggle two of my players, including my best Black Orc.
However, things were better in the ball playing department. My orcs managed to snag the ball (yes, they know what a ball is) on turn 1 when my opponent rolled some bad dice after failing to protect the ball.. They managed to turn this into a T7 TD. The second half, though, started looking ugly after my opponent managed to knock the ball free and niggle two of my players. Fortunately for me, he failed a last minute dodge that would have tied the game for him.
Fun game, and we will need to have a rematch sometime...after my team has recovered from the smacking they received this time.”
