“Not a lot of fun to be had for the Knives this match. 4 handicaps proved to be far too much for them right from the start. With 'I am the greatest', 'It wasn't me', and 'Morley's Revenge' among the handicaps, they didn't come close to having enough players in the field.
Zoliak played well, putting his DP to good use from turn 1, but, even with a blitz against them, it wasn't enough to stop the Knives scoring early in the first half.
The Spanish Prosiacs made a slow advance, and a couple of mistakes on my part gave them a nice easy TD in turn 7. Unluckily for the Knives, even a Quck Snap wasn't enough to stop their thrower from fumbling the ball, resulting in a missed opportunity for the 1-turn TD that might have given them a chance.
For the second half, the Knives were far too low on numbers to put in an effective defence. Combined with a bit of bad luck, they couldn't even knock down the ball carrier when given the opportunity for a 2d block (with tackle and re-roll), which sealed the game. The Prosiacs gradually ground them down (with help from a few failed dodges one which resulted in a death). Eventually , only two players from the knives were left on the field (both prone, and surrounded). The Prosiacs, waiting for just the right moment, took the game winning touchdown in turn 8.”
