#9 Complete frustration – Serious Concussion (-AV)
“I started the game with the worst expectations, as I got shafted the last 15 games by horrible luck.
To my surprise Mathor had my luck, where I had averag rolls overall, so I managed a defense-TD. There could have been a 2-0 at halftime, but his rolls got better to the end, so he managed a 4-dodge-1d-POW with a pickup, denying me the score.
2nd half I really got pressed hard by bad rolls and his fouls due get the ref, but my initial advantage in players carried me through to the 2-0.
The 3-0 was just because of the blitz and Malthor stopping to play for the ball - so I delayed a turn right away to eleminate his chances to score the 3-1 and so securing another point for the faction.
Overall, a nice game and an unexpected win against amazons.”

I had 10 players for the match and it started horribly, with my players unable to pick up the ball or unable to pass or catch it. Soon the ball was lost and my opponent scored on me, with 5 of my players KOd for the drive.
Only 2 came back. On the next drive, it was very similar, with my 7 almost conceding a TD. 3 were KOd on this drive and only one came back.
The game was over really when I started off kicking with only 6 vs 10. I had not enough players to stop him scoring and I was down 0-2 with about 4 turns to go in the game.
He then rolled a blitz and it was well and truly over. All I could do was foul (with the ref) to try and get him to score quick so I could have the ball and get some completions. As it was, he stalled one more turn (maybe to get back at me for fouling) when he coulda scored to take it to 3-0 with only two turns left for me.
With one turn left, I finally finally managed to get that elusive completion I had been hunting for all day!!!
