“The Zharrduk started in offence and made a poor start despite being awarded a kick off when one of their Chaos Dwarves knocked himself out on an easy block (3 block of the game, double skulls, rerolled to double skulls, then 10+ for armour, KO and fail Thick Skull LOL).

Luckily for the Terrors, the ball was deep in defence and they were able to cage the ball despite several speedy Sancta Quesitio players penetrating deep into Terror territory.

The Terrors played cautiously, advancing their cage slowly yet methodically as they exchanged blows with their opponents. Eventually, Hobgoblin Zapuki Facesplat scored a TD after being given a rare opportunity to take the field (I meant to brin on the 3 SPP Hobbo but brought on ths niggled MA7 guy instead LOL).

In the second half, a mistake by the humans up front allowed the Terrors to blitz the opposing quarterback with both Bull Centaurs. After a struggle with the ball, the humans managed to win it back again, but Terror Hobbo Lahgog Slurpfast intercepted the difficult pass, and handed off to Bull Centaur Kzarak Flamefist for the Terrors second score.

On the next drive, the humans pushed forwards deep, but did so piecemeal, allowing the Terrors to win the ball and then throw it to safe arms of Kzarak Flamefist (Str 5 Bull Centaur) who then ran down almost the entire length of the pitch to score a 3rd TD for the Terrors.

We played a cat and mouse game in the first half, with each of us usually getting just one blitz. His players were highy mobile, but in the hitting stakes I had the advantage as I had a lot of Guard, and he had none.

It was still a fun game against a fun opponent, but man does Nuffle hate me. Yet another 1 rolled for FF when I needed 3+. Back to 8 FF after a 12/3/2 record with most wins being of the 3+ to gain FF kind. Oh well.”
