“Damned Warpstone. Even after the clean-up, the taint of its sickly smell still permeates the Snorriheim Bowl!
Looking outgunned, it seems the rats decided to spice the game up with a few wagonloads of warpstone - and right from the moment the teams marched out on the paddock, the game lurched back and forth bewilderingly with some decidedly extreme results. The fans sure loved it.
It was a thrilling match though - the skaven turned the match on its head with some good play which saw the game in limbo mid second half as the AG5 elf double fumbled the ball. The runaway tries which took the game to a rampant 5-2 scoreline don't reflect that. ”

“Strong hitting, determined running and acurate passing by the Vanguard of the Southern Ark all added up to a loss for the German Vermin in round 5. Hitler managed to take out some anger on Silent Blizzard, who will wake up shivering in the night for years to come, remembering the rotten breath of the foul dictator. Colonel Klink & Jorno both scored touchdowns, and for a brief period, it look like the Rats may have been able to salvage a draw. It wasn't to be however, and as the Red Baron lay on the ground with a mouthful of dirt, the Dark Elves scooped the ball up before scoring on the fast break. The Germans are getting more tired with each game, and the off season can't come fast enough. Instead, the Vermin have their last game of Season 9 against the dirtiest team in the Southern Conference: the Wicker Men. Carrying so many injuries, things look grim.
The worst defensive game in the history of the Germans, it somehow was also the only game in their history where they increased their fanbase while on the wrong side of the scoreboard.”
