“A challenging game that went down to the wire.

The Falcons were hit by a Virus and I am the Greatest taking out 3 of their best players and leaving their next two players arguing over who got to take the field each drive.

Whilst the Falcon superstars were out , they still had some strong defenders and this caused the Silverstars to lose the ball on a couple of occasions and the Falcons took a two TD lead into the second half.

An error at 5-4 up by the Falcons cost them the ball and the Silverstars equalised at 5 all late in the second half.

It looked like a draw, but then the Falcons after watching the Silverstars do four one turn TDs, did one of their own, but used chain pushbacks to send a MA8 player deep into the Silverstars half before he dodged (just one requred) and sprinted (2 required) his way seal the victory.

A very close match as is always the case when your opponent uses his one turner, but he felt like he had little other option with my three Diving Tackle players on the pitch.

We both had some moments of bad luck, but overall it was a fun game. Pity about my 67 SPP Blitzer who got a niggle in the middle of the second half and the roll of 1 for money - the 9th? 1 I have rolled in about 15 matches!”
