“Playing the UMT III champions under the guidance of the excellent Casper in their first ever Super UMT game was always going to be touch for BB-Pad's Ravens... but Nuffle thought he'd make even harder. 5 turns into the 1st half and the Ravens had burned all their rerolls already going on to have by the end of the 1st half 3 double skulls, a good sprinkling of double 1s and a pitch invasion that only affected the dark elves. Add poor coaching to that and it was no surprise that the Clan where 3-0 (or 2-0?) up at half time!

2nd half proved to be a little better but Casper's coaching ability shown through to complete a demoralising 6-2 rout as the dark elves proved incapable of breaking skaven armour or causing more than the odd stun / ko. The only skaven injury was self-inflcted - shame on you, you feeble dark elves!

There were some entertaining moments particularly in T16 when the Raven's buzzing blitzer tried to pick up the ball for a TD pass! Duh! Fortunately, luck held out for another blitzer to cross the field pick up the ball after 2 GFIs then pass to a waiting blitzer who also needed 2 GFIs to score - now why couldn't I have had some of that luck in the 1st half!! :o)
