“Coming in as massive underdogs, the Tide pumped themselves up hugely before the game and we even suspect they snuck one of their gobbo's into the crowd to incite their fans and the other off to poke Red Streak's old niggle to flare up again!

Palming the ref's coin, the Tide hammered down the pitch. A rock from the crowd took out the Krasherz star Bob (who ultimately got the MVP for wearing such a killer throw in da place of his more spritely mates) and the Tide flooded into the Krasherz half of the pitch! Three turns later, the Krasherz were down four already - 2 bh's, 2 ko's and the apot already used. With two bobs and da troll off, things looked grim as the tide showed the krasherz once again how they're *sposed* to bash!

And then Goon entered the play. Dodged thrice through zones to pick up da ball and fling a long bomb to his mate down da field! What a move! The half time siren went and 1-0 to the Krasherz after having been outclassed in every way possible except in da art of being a goon.

The second half was a more of the same, but some of the momentum had been knocked out of the Tide's waaugh. After some lacklustre bashing, Goon once again rescued the lads with some stellar play and got the Krasherz home for the win.

A final turn dustoff and sprint for the line by one of Tide's bobs brought to a close a rather entertaining match. Thanks for the game Joe.”
