“I gotta learn to calm down when I play my norse team...I start to take the game WAY too seriously, giving up hope too quickly when things turn against me, bringing a rather defeatist attitude along which really isn't me. If you've played my skaven (or in the past, my elves) you'd know I'm much more happy-go-lucky in gaming, dishing out compliments when warranted, etc. There's just something about my norse squad which brings out my dark side... Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, but I'm sure I'm not nearly as pleasant to play against...

That said, Alcing really should've won this game easily. After stealing the ball with a POW from his tackle-less mino on my blodger catcher, he had all the strength support in the world between the ball and my guys. Only some desperation dodging, gfi's and 1d blocking slowed him up enough for more norse to gather, and where one norseman may not be enough, a gang of them usually can be, and we stopped his chance at scoring on my kick. Some lucky hitting helped greatly in this regard....

Second half, he takes the kick and begins his push around the left side, but the wall that is my mino stopped that effort. Instead, he tries the right side, and my str 4 mino and some SF blitzers hold there. Frustrated, he goes right through the middle, and go fig he scores easily. My turn to try to equalize in 3 turns, with only 10 norse vs a full roster of chaos. Manage to establish a screen of norse between the bulk of his chaos critters and my ballboy, but not enough to stop his tackler from dodging through and laying low my catcher. However, Nuke the mino actually showed useful for a change (he had a chance to crowdpush the opposing mino--who had caught the ball on a bounce after POW'ing my blodger--but failed his WA block), clearing a path for my catcher to pick himself up off the ground and dodge/gfi to the tying score as the half expired.

GG, Alcing, you ended up being the cheerleader for both our squads. Sry for being so downish during the game...serious lack of sleep here, I really should be in bed rather than playing. Damn Nuffle for making this game so addictive...”
