“It was an uncertain game, when I have learned to never take any team/coach for granted. I never try to anyway.
Virus, bad press and Morleys Revenge (on the tree only) however made me feel like I would have a good chance of winning this game.
Correction, I rolled 6 db skulls the first 5 turns, and the 4 first turns I had a turnover due to failing a 2+ dodge. The 5th, I RR the db skull, just to roll 2 more skulls. By that time I was ready to give in, (not concede, but to loose the game).
Him failing a dodge, gave me some hope back. And I thought, lets see how good this will get.
Getting a blitz in the last turn was what I was hoping for. But never thought would happen. Then that he didnt fail the 2+ dodge, (I had a tackle player next to his WD), and not failing the GFI, made me hope my player only would get stunned. But then nuffle made a twist and db skulls without RR was a fact. I couldnt to anything but to cheer for myself.
I did whine a lot during the game, but tried to do it with a smile in the end. So I think we had a few good laughs together, anyway. =)
Thanks for the match, Canales. It was a good game, and I understand that you feel robbed, but I can only imagin what would have happened if I wouldnt have started with 6 db skulls. =P
Good luck and I sure hope to play you again. And gladly recomend anyone who fancy a good, clean, fun game to play Canales. =)”
“Mixed feelings after this game. I had virus and Morley's Revenge, playing with 10 elves (9 most of the time). Cyco rolled 3 double skulls in the first half, burning his rerolls. But then I made a mistake letting him score a OT.
I was 4-2 in the second half, but failed a dodge that resulted in the 4-3 TD.
Then, with 1 turn left, Cyco got his second blitz of the game and managed to grab the ball. All I had to do was knock down the ball carrier, but I rolled doubleskulls with no rerolls, and he made the equaliser.
Although we roughly had the same luck, I feel a bit robbed after leading the score until the last second. =D”
