“Very interesting game and pretty much the first one where The Fallen have actually acted like elves and managed to dodge and pass. Turn 2 and Doc Pain's Crew managed to RIP a Witch Elf but the old apoth patched her up. After that it was all BH's and KO's. I won the kickoff and elected to recieve first. I got in pretty good position to pass for the TD and the beast in the way managed a target 6 interception. We basically fought things out until the end of the first half score 0-0.
Second half and I kick to him touchback and he gives it to his str 5 Chaos Warrior. I knew this was gonna be rough. He marches the ball down to within 3 steps from my endzone. I start the turn with alot of elves down and it doesn't look good for us. Earlier I had posted a linelf 8 steps from his endzone incase I managed to squeeze the ball loose. In desperation I blitz his Chaos Warrior at -2 block dice and rull a skull and skull/pow no good so I reroll. I get an arrow and a pushback knockdown. GREAT!! he chooses the arrow and strip ball promptly knocks the ball loose. A blitzer that was on the ground gets up grabs the ball with 2 TZ's on it and gfi's away. Passes to a linelf that was near the los who runs to the other linelf that I had earlier moved forward. Successful handoff and the linelf is 2 steps from his endzone and safely away from anyone that could hit him. I dodge the rest of my DE out and end the turn. Next turn TD!! Score 1-0.
My opponent was rightfully unhappy about these turn of events unfortunately his anger got the best of him. On the next kickoff instead of properly protecting the ball he went for blood. I exploited a couple holes in his line with a leaping blitzer and my str 4 blitzer and pop the ball loose 2 turns after kickoff. One of my Witch Elves sneaks in a grabbed the ball and takes off running towards his endzone ends up 6 steps away. I maneuver some DE around to try to force blocks or risky dodges before they can get to my Witch Elf. A couple painful hits from my opponent and the best he can do is one TZ on my witchelf. She easily dodges away for the turn 7 TD. Score 2-0. I put up a token line of linelfs for the kickoff and he mangles em the only real mar being the H2 T8 foul. ”
