My team hardly was in top form but fortunately for me my opponents seemed to have an even worse day.
I received 1st half but the decisive quick-pass to a ghoul with catch failed. The cursed ghoul not only failed to catch it but the ball scattered to a square where he had multiple tackle-zones on it. 1-0 after 4 turns.
With a slight bit of luck (or rather; no bad dice at the worst time possible) I evened the score that half. He had 1 turn left to even the score. Make that 2 because of overtime (doh! when do I ever get this with only 1 turn left?) Even so; with his 9 players he failed to take the lead again.
2nd half I rolled a blitz when he received but at the same time he got a touchback. Useful still though and in the end I took the lead; 2-1. this half the elves seemed to have lost their faith in their abilities and most things went less then perfect. They evened the score but in the end of the 2nd half Dr. Kevorkian succeeded in 2 gfi's and a 3+ dodge (with rr to back it up)
Which leaves me to no conclusion that I have been just that bit luckier overall. It almost (well; ALMOST of course) saddens me but my opponent deserved to be named Jinxed more than me this match.
“So here we go again Jinxed and me. Two coaches to claim to have nuffles horn in the side. The game started kinda ok for me with Jinxed failing a 3+ which led to me scoring 1-0. After that td...I could as well simply have pressed turn each turn instead of actually try to do something constructive. At least it felt that way.
When Jinxed then made some 3+ and 2+ without using RR to make it 3-2 in the last turn...well...I actually considered stop playin' for ever. Not because I lost...but because I next to NEVER get the games where I have 61% luck and my opp 46%. Except perhaps in 4vs4.
Take my dices 2-3 games in a row and most of u would consider stop playin'...then imagine what it feels like to always have em...with some occasional breaks for 2-3 turns some games.
Ah well...sry Jinxed for writin' this in a matchreport but I had to get it out of the system.
Thanks for the game...always fun to play ya. Hope your dices stay like this.”
