“No way did the Gut Bustaz really have a luck as high as 58%. 8% more like it. This is because all the critical rolls failed. A gobbo with reroll failed to pick up the ball in the first and second turns, resulting in an easy walk in of a td for the defensive team.
The rest was pretty standard stuff, luck withstanding, as the catchers played havoc with the Orc defence. The Gut Bustaz pushed forward trying to cause maximum damage, but failed to do much apart from a plethora of KO's caused by the piling on Bugan Anvilarm.
With reserves to spare a mix of blitzes and runs with the odd pass thrown in resulted in a fairly flattering 4-0 win for Anlec. That said they were home free on the last turn of both halves, ending the game just one square from the td line as a dragon warrior had to make a dash as a sure footed lion warrior (my star player Elthar at that) rolled a double 1 going for it and stunned himself.
Well.. at least he didn't die!”
