“I got 5 handicaps but was a bit disappointed with them initially. virus was very good of course but palmed coin, bribe the ref, doom 'n gloom and bad press are below par IMO.

I opted to receive. (palmed coin) but he rolled a perfect defense. The ball would land on my rookie golem who was on the side-line on a flank. So he parked his ST6 ABOBmination next to it along with another BOB (guard one).

Then the bastard-golem accidentally caught the ball. I was in DEEP trouble. I dodged with the golem (worked!) and handed the ball to a wolf who ran deep in my backfield out of reach for all of his players. then I proceeded to block. which stopped when my kick-zombie rolled a double-skull (RR burned earlier) and managed to BH himself (failed reg)

His aBOBmination was on my right flank so i went to my left and managed to score despite another KO'd zombie.

Then I went with the strategy of reducing his tacklers, if needs be by fouling. (he fouled before so any hesitation I had using my HC was away) It worked like a charm. (or; I was damn lucky; BH-ing both his tackle-blitzers and fouling his tackle-BOB KO)

He scored and I failed to take the lead again in the 1st half but he had a mere 6 players to field the 2nd half.

That worked. Not before long i had the ball only and wanted to give it to my 5 spp golem. And almost snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. The bugger refused to catch or pick it up until the 7th turn.

But in the end it worked...
