Luck was with us right from the start. The Dark Elves kept it simple, rarely making a 2+ or 3+ unless the reroll was available, but then, it ALWAYS was. We barely failed a thing, certainly nothing important.

On the defensive for the whole half, we scored twice on the break. Sloth was invalauble. His Ma8 Ag5 gave him the run of most of the pitch, and he was always available for a last dash hand-off or catch. It could easily have finished 1-1, but Shaman's luck took a dive to match our ridiculous heights

We had a numerical advantage more often than not and the Str2 catchers spent a lot of time on the floor. Tough defence couldn't stop my uber-lucky Dark Elves and we quickly made it 3-0, adding a fourth after a failed pickup.

It could have been 5, only a long overdue burst of snake-eyes kept me back and finally gave Shaman42 a consolation td.

A fair game would have finished a damn sight closer, 3-1 or 3-2 at least, but it was not destined to be the Wasteland Wardens' day. Enjoyable match against an opponent who should've complained a lot more than he did. A rematch awaits.”
