The Ogres challenged the Grave Knights and looked to be in a commanding position after a touchback gave one of their Ogres the ball on a wing and they drove forward strongly knocking out three players in the process!
However, the Knights struck back and knocked out and injured players themselves as they fought hard to stop a score.
Eventually, they managed to knock the ball free and both sides then fought for it again, with the Ogres dodging repeatedly like Elves!
However, the Knighs managed to get the ball and send it downfield for a score to late in the first half.
With so many players injured or still knocked out, the Ogre team could only field 4 players and soon lost the ball to an 11 strong Knights outfit.
At 2-0 down and with only 3 Ogres able to take the field, the Knights were able to score again, but not before killing one of their Wights on a failed GFI (no regen).

A most fun and brutal game. The dice rolls were just insanely funny. The Ogres did not fail a dodge out of about 5 or 6, whilst my players just racked up the casualties. The Beast caused 4 casualties, with two of them on Ogres, and the The Bride of the Beast causing a niggling injury on an Ogre when the Ogre blocked and had two dice and got Skull/Pow.
My opponent conceded on turn 8 as he was going to retire his team and I certainly appreciated the bonus cash.
Irminsulz, you were a good sport and fun to play against and I wish you luck with your new team.”
