“The Juggernaughts started in offence, and despite a quick switching perfect defence by the Black Sun, were able to cage the ball quickly and exert some dominance in the exchange of blows.
The Black Sun were soon down one player due to a KO, and then their experienced player Chirp was killed by a nasty block and unfortunately, the magic sponge could not bring him back.
The Juggernauts soon had the ball safely deep in Black Sun territory and seeing how hopeless the situation was, most of the Black Sun team stayed laying on the astroturf and played dead, allowing Hobgoblin Zapuki Facesplat to score his first ever TD.
In the second half, it was 9 on 9 and a lucky scatter of the kick saw the ball close to the sideline on the other side of the pitch to where the Black Sun players had mostly set up.
The Juggernauts quickly swarmed over to that side of the pitch and the second half ended up a repeat of the first half, except this time round it was Juggernaut Chaos Dwarf Bzakrock Bloodhammer who killed himself on a block and failed to be revived by the magic sponge.
------------
It was a very quick 35 minute game with both of us ending turns as he couldn't stop me scoring, and I didn't want to line up to let him hit me again!
Both of us had a single death with the apoth failing. Mine was avoidable as I had 3 rerolls and chose not to reroll my block!!! Youchie LOL
