“Some luck in the first half allowed the hob goblin Spillma Pint to score against the run of play... and some desperate defending in the late stages of the 1st half kept the score at 1-0 to the PoD side.

However, with dwarvern armour being broken too regularly for comfort in the first half, the PoD side started the 2nd half with just 10 players. However, Rex Steelhoof emerged with the ball midway in the orc half, only to fail a 50/50 dodge that would have earnt him another TD and sealed the game... However, nuffle decided against this. Then the orc blitzers took control with some nifty pick up, hand off and passing that would put elves to shame... the result 1-1.

Fortunately the PoD side held it together to prevent the Invaders from scoring on the last turn, as Captain1821 tried a last ditch desperate play that failed in the latter stages.
