“The first orcish drive mostly devolved into the usual dwarf vs orc slugfest, but dwarven runner Aniva Icefoot somehow managed to come out of it holding the ball, sprinting for the goal line she was overcome by an orcish blitzer who managed to grab the ball and get it back into the melee. More slugfest followed before the Helva Darkwatcher (the other dwarven runner) suddenly and much to her amazement catched a bouncing ball after a blitz, nimbly dodged away and finally managed to score on the last turn of the half.

The second half began with the dwarves falling back on their old "elfbowl" playing style, with Aniva Icefoot dodging away from three orcs before running to the goalline where she catched the perfect pass from Helva Darkwatcher, making the score two to nothing.

The orcs finally showed that they too could play given half a chance, and blitzer Pakkino II scored after a good pass from Lanciapakki.
