“Senzadimora couldn't break my armor, but could break his. Even with his multiple guards and twice +ST, I was the one who could make 2 dice blocks while he had to do with 1 dice blocks. There was quite the unlucky streak when his runner blitzed my ball carrier, but failed the gfi, reroll, then rolled skulls. The turn after, that same runner blitzed again and failed the gfi twice.

I also saw the dwarfs had 90k in the bank, which meant I could expect a deathroller. So I bought a wizard. The deathroller didn't show up, but the wizard was still put to good use: in the second half, we nailed 5 dwarfs with a fireball (they were in a kicking circle surrounding my blitzer). The resulting hole in their defense allowed us to grab the ball for the final 2-0. ;)

Drost made both my TDs and deservedly got the MVP. He rolled +ST but aged with -AG. Even though I've vowed not to take stat increases with this team, I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Now, if only I could get some cash to get some fresh line meat... that would be nice.
