“This was a very fun match between two well-matched teams, both teams really played to win today.

The Legion started well, going on the offense for the first drive instead of their usual defensive stance, and this might very well have been what ultimately cost them the game. Afte a quick offense they scored for the first, and only, time.

Their lightning offense had however left enough time for the Clippers to score in return, and this they did after some fancy dodging by Piatkowski, and despite the Legion's perfect defense.

In the second half the play was if possibly even wilder than in the first, the fact that both teams were down to seven players by then might have helped. The Clippers offensive nearly stalled at the beginning, much due to the boneheaded Cherokee who missed every opportunity to blitz.

Somehow the Clippers managed to outmaneuvre the Legion however, and began running for the scoreline. But soon the numbers dwindled in the small box around the ballcarrier allowing Alisannara Morcane to push him out in the crowds. The ball was quickly seized by one of the Legions fans who threw a perfect pass to a waiting elf and everyone expected the Legion to score.

However Cherokee, now all but forgotten, finally managed to realize what was going on and managed to blitz and knockdown the elf, leaving the ball open for grabs. The first one to reach the ball was Ekezie, Clippers blitzer, who not only blitzed his way to the ball, he also held on to it before finally throwing the pass allowing Kaman to score in the absolutely last round (and on his last go-for-it).

Despite playing their best match to date Llolth's Legion lost against the even better playing Lower Altdorf Clippers.
