“A close match that turned out a draw after what seemed a sure victory for the Angelic Alliance.
The Alliance scored first with a pass followed by a good run up the middle of the field to score in the 3rd turn.
The Kings were able to quickly equalise with a great run by Drugi down the left wing.
The 2nd half started with the Kings getting the ball and after the initial few turns they were set for another score down the left wing. Disaster struck however as the rookie thrower, Flam, filling in for the injured Firu fumbled the ball just behind the line of scrimmage. The Alliance took advantage of the mistake and after some nice offensive work recovered the ball and looked to on their way to TD number 2.
The Alliance setup to hang onto the ball and let the clock run down ensuring them the win. It wasn't to be however as after holding the ball on the line for most of the half Nicious Curm dodged through 2 tackle zones and piled the unfortunate ball carrier into the crowd.
OwK were able to recover the ball and although just out of scoring range were able to hang on for a draw.
Thanks to The Legend for what ended up being an interesting match.”
