“This was one crazy match. After the first two or three turns I have a SI injured lineelf and a BH thrower and blitzer (a catcher niggled out on me as well) and things start to look pretty bleak with my team reduced to 8 players already. Soon after I decide I have to even the odds (and protect my team) so I foul his RSC/block beast (yes - I'll foul any RSC fool who lands at my feet if it doesn't endanger my game-plan) who gets KO! Unfortunately the refs spots this violation and sends the idiot off. Another man down for the rest of this match.

I manage to stay clear of the chaos onslaught and even manages to wrestle the ball loose (a couple of my players KO in the meantime). I'm so close to scoring I can taste it but the dream ends when I decide to stall in order to spare some of players from an unfavorable LOS and another blitzer suffers a SI (-av) on a foul - apoth works ! But my attempt to wrestle my ball-carrier loose fails and the half ends 1-1.

I recieve. Things aren't looking too shabby until my ag 5 catcher fails a pick-up on the ball. From here it's all just a desperate fight in order to maintain control of the game as more and more of my players are bashed of the field and I am forced to try some desperate moves. Especially my ag5 catcher and blodge lineelf manage to keep me in the game together with my str. 4 lineelf. Soon I am reduced to the two latter was well as a block/kick lineman. These three players manage to halt the enemy onslaugt, and even come close to scoring - all thanks to some daring dodges, blocks and quite a few skulls on my opponents behalf; couldn't really feel guilty though due to the horrible start the game had given me =P

A fun hard-fought match worthy of a replay.
